Blogging for Book
Marketing
Blogging is one of today’s great tools to
accessing millions of people on the internet. Blogging is
basically an online journal which is written in often, like
a diary, for the person of sharing yourself or specific
information with other people through the
internet.
This form of
communicating with people can be powerful because it’s
another form of free publicity, or communicating your
message with people in an inconspicuous way.
Blogging can be good for promoting your
book because by sharing your thoughts with people who are
looking for information on your subject, you
inadvertently make yourself an authority on that subject
by displaying more and more knowledge on your
subject.
All of this can be
accomplished by starting a blog. Some authors who don’t
even have websites have blogs. I’ve have seen authors
with video, music, and book information on their one page
blog! If you’re like me, you’re probably wondering want
it the world “blog” means in the first
place.
It’s a short
version of what was in past years (mid 90’s) called a web
log- weblog. Somebody decided to shorten it and the BLOG
was born. Blogger.com is a great source for more
information on blogging. This is the company that coined
the term blogger.
I recommend
blogging as a great way to gain web presence whether you
have or don’t have a website. By using a great blogging
service, you will get better ranking in search engines
anyway unless you used our recommended website building
service, of course.
